Clos Marguerite, Sauvignon Blanc on Lees, 2019
Delicate citrus, pears, passion fruit, melon, mandarin, peach, to only name a few of the flavours composing the bouquet. These fruit notes are lifted by some delicate savoury undertones of basil and lemon grass, as well as by some elegant mineral notes; the hallmark of the Clos. As usual, we can expect the lees characters to develop over time. In the mouth, it is all round and full, with good tension thanks to the racy acidity. A wine with great balance, creamy texture and a lingering finish. A vintage that will honour a wide range of dishes.

Clos Marguerite, Rosé, 2020
This charming Rosé offers much more than just blossoming ripe red summer berry fruits; strawberry, raspberry, red plum and rhubarb. A hint of blood orange uplifts the bouquet, while some elusive sweet spices and savoury notes undertone the fruits. In the mouth, it is pure lush and cream, yet refreshing with a crisp finish. A weighty wine with an attractive silky texture and a lengthy finish.

Clos Marguerite, Pinot Noir, 2015
A deep, elegant Pinot Noir. The bouquet shows a wide range of aromas; from light fruits cake, fresh dark summer berry fruits - cherry, black current, plum - to earthy, nutty, dry forest floor, and spices. The mouthfeel is rich, powerful with great length. Layers of flavours reflect the complexity of the bouquet. A silky yet firm tannin structure, hallmark of Clos Marguerite, allows the good aging potential of this wine.

A wine of high energy and purity. Balance is definitely the hallmark of the Clos Marguerite wines. This is more than ever showing in the vintage 2017 Pinot Noir. On the nose, some vibrant summer berry fruits; raspberry, cherry, blueberry, are harmoniously blended with refine savoury aromas; toasted spices, pepper, anise, dried herbs, and some elusive meaty, leathery notes. The fruit sweetness and the refine tannins give the mouth its round and supple feel. Succulent, yet dry, with a wonderful balance and a long finish; another classy Pinot Noir.
